We may have been playing it for centuries, but our enthusiasm for tennis is as strong as ever. In fact the term ‘tennis’ is searched in the UK 74,800 times on average each month, peaking around Wimbledon each summer. But it’s not all strawberries & cream and Pimms on the lawn – tennis is played by around 800,000 people of all ages on our fair isles and has become a year-round sport, thanks to an ever-increasing number of all-weather and indoor courts.
